We did the tedious stuff so you don't have to.

We made an effort to cover just about every type of grid you can think of - and then some. And we carefully considered the best way to prepare each set to save you the maximum amount of time and effort - and ensure the best results possible.

From working in pixel-view mode to help control the way strokes rasterize, to selecting cell sizes and stroke weights for different video finishing sizes, to ensuring horizontal and vertical edge symmetry - we embraced the brain damage so you can create.

Simply drag and drop these presized PNGs into compositions in any version of After Effects, Premiere, Nuke, Fusion, Final Cut Pro, Vegas, Photoshop or any other video/image editing/compositing application. Adjust transparency, tint and blending. Done!

No math to determine apropriate grid spacing and offsets, no plugin or script installation hassles, no version incompatibility issues and no momentum-killing Illustrator work. Just fast, easy, high-quality results from folks who understand what you need.

Engineering Grid Samples

Here are individual samples of the 22 styles of engineering grid overlays. These have been reduced from 2K (2048 pixels) to 800 pixels wide and placed against a blueprint paper background with grid line opacity set to 60%.

In the HD and 2K versions, the heavy (primary) grid lines, at full size, are three pixel strokes. The fine (secondary or subdivision) grid lines are one pixel strokes. In the UHD and 4K versions, those values are doubled (6 pixels / 2 pixels).

Additional images to show how the HD/UHD versions were derived from the 2K/4K versions are coming soon.
